Grammy-winning country singer Larry Gatlin hails from Seminole, Texas, born into an oilfield family. He began showcasing his musical talents at an early age, joining his younger brothers Steve and Rudy in singing at family and church events. Larry’s songwriting prowess gained recognition in the Nashville music scene, propelling him into a solo career where he toured small clubs and listening rooms. As his brothers finished college, Larry eagerly anticipated the time when he could expand his live show to include them.

From 1976 to 1992, the Gatlin Brothers embarked on an extensive tour across the United States, Canada, and overseas, accumulating hit after hit and earning prestigious industry awards. Larry’s songwriting skills extended beyond the Gatlin Brothers’ repertoire, with his compositions recorded by iconic artists like Elvis Presley, Glen Campbell, and Barbra Streisand. Residing in the Nashville area for over 40 years, Larry shares his life with Janis, his wife, and proud parents to two children, Josh and Kristin.
