In 1989, shortly after his recording contract with Warner Bros. Records expired, Billy Montana moved to Nashville from Upstate New York . He made songwriting his primary focus from that time forward, and as a songwriter, Billy’s written five #1 singles for country music recording artists Garth Brooks (“More Than a Memory”), Lee Brice (“Hard to Love” and “Memory I Don’t Mess With”, Sara Evans (“Suds in the Bucket”, and Jo Dee Messina (“Bring on the Rain”). The Garth Brooks single “More Than a Memory” is the only song in country music history to debut at #1. Montana also scored a top 5 with Jon Pardi’s “Night Shift.”

Brian Davis is a singer/songwriter from North Carolina who has stood on stages that range from the small bars of his hometown to almost every arena in the country. He’s had the privilege of sharing the stage with artist like George Jones, Aaron Lewis, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Michael Ray, Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert just to name a few. Brian also has songs recorded by Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert, Gretchen Wilson, Tyler Braden, and Tyler Farr among others. He co-wrote the #1 song “One Hell of An Amen by Brantley Gilbert and also the #1 song “Memory I Don’t Mess With” by Lee Brice.

Need To Know

To attend the Songwriters Roundtable, guests must book an all-inclusive stay during Labor Day weekend on August 30th, 2025. Starting at $1,900 per night per cabin (covers two guests), excluding additional fees and taxes. Our all-inclusive packages feature all meals and beverages, guided and self-guided ranch activities, and luxury accommodations. This live acoustic performance on Saturday, August 30th is a complimentary add-on at no extra cost to our guests.

All-Inclusive Lodging vs. Off-Season Cabin Rentals

While we would like all of our guests to experience the peak of our all-inclusive season (Memorial Day weekend through October 31st), we offer an opportunity to experience our Montana guest ranch at a lower rate during our cabin rentals season (November 1st through May 22nd). During this period, you can expect the same luxury accommodations and access to our beautiful property, but without the added benefits of all included meals, beverages, and guided experiences.

Regardless of when you stay at The Meadows on Rock Creek, we will make every effort to accommodate the needs of your group, as we strive for absolute satisfaction during your stay at our Montana ranch resort.
